1. Agreement Overview

These are the terms of the legal agreement between you and NetScape Labs. They outline our business relationship with you.

2. Content Responsibility

You are responsible for providing all content (text and multimedia) for your site before we start working on it.

3. Data Backup

You must back up all content on your site before we begin. NetScape Labs is not responsible for any loss or damage to your existing data.

4. Scope of Work

NetScape Labs is not responsible for data entry, web hosting, or custom artwork/graphics unless we have specifically agreed to these tasks and you have paid for them. Any artwork, images, or text we create or provide will remain our property unless agreed otherwise.

5. Project Timelines

We will try to complete our work within the estimated time, but sometimes delays may occur due to unforeseen issues like deployment problems, dependencies, third-party support, or communication delays.

6. Review and Approval

You will have the chance to review the appearance and content of your website during and after the design. If you do not provide feedback within 7 days, we will consider the work accepted and approved.

7. Copyright and Permissions

You retain the copyright to the content and logos you provide. You must ensure you have the rights to use any third-party materials and grant us permission to use them. You agree to protect us from any claims resulting from your failure to obtain the necessary permissions.

8. Client Changes

We are not responsible for any changes made by you or a third party to your website after it is deployed. If issues arise from these changes, we may charge a fee to resolve them.

If you cancel our service before completion, we may charge a fee based on the amount of work done up to that point.

11. Support and Third-Party Products

We offer free support for the first month after your site launches. After that, we charge based on our pricing packages. Support includes bug fixes and email support but excludes issues related to site architecture or add-ons.

12. Third-Party Products

We do not guarantee the performance of third-party products or services used in your project. Upgrades to these products are not included in our scope and may require additional fees.

13. Re-Work, Enhancements, and Billing

Any additional features or changes not included in the original scope will be billed separately. We will notify you of any costs before starting work. Any changes after approval may be considered add-on work and will be billed accordingly.

You must pay all fees charged by NetScape Labs by the agreed due dates without any deductions or discounts.

14. Limitations of Liability

We will use reasonable care in providing our services but do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or performance of the service. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by inaccuracies, omissions, or errors, including damage to your content. We are also not responsible for third-party service failures.

15. Approvals and Delivery

Work on the next project stage will only begin after we receive approval and payment for the previous stage. Ownership of the code and materials will transfer to you after final payment. We may use the completed work for references unless you request otherwise.

16. Severability

If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the agreement will still apply. The invalid part will be replaced with a provision that closely matches the original intent.
